I like the ads on bankwest. I also like that there is no fees for a $2000 deposit each week. Though it would be good if we could reduce this threshold. I have found the online banking is easy to use and flexible to my needs. Full review

The loan was extremely easy for me to apply for. It only took me 36 hours from going to the bank to me having the money in my account. They approved me even though I was a student working casually which was great as loans are extremely hard to get... Full review
The loan was extremely easy for me to apply for. It only took me 36 hours from going to the bank to me having the money in my account. They approved me even though I was a student working casually which was great as loans are extremely hard to get if you dont have full time employment. There is NO fee for paying the loan off early and direct debiting makes the loan extremely easy to pay.

This product is NOT the best on the market and I have contacted Bankwest to organise a new home loan product to suit me better. Bankwest are relatively helpful even if you put in a online request to have someone contact you they will get in touch with you within 6hrs (business hours) Pros: straight forward product, Bankwest easy to communicate with, online services easy to use, redraw facility Cons: high interest rate in comparison, no branch in Canberra, seeing a real person to see has been impossible

Bankwest are so helpful and their online banking facilities are easy to use! There aren't any hidden fees or fine print claus' that I have found. You gain interest every month at a decent 6% (I think) rate, and if I don't withdraw anything in the month I get bonus interest! Even when I do have to withdraw I still get my interest paid, just without the bonus. their customer service team is always happy to help and very efficient.

As a student edge bank account holder, I earn a grand total of a negligible interest pa. Nothing to write home about, really. I had to apply for another Mastercard as the Student Edge card is not a debit card. Too much trouble. Full review
