Energy retailer Nectr asked Aussies what they want most from their provider

According to Nectr, the average energy customer is:
- Looking for something easy
- Not afraid to switch
- Wanting to be heard when it comes to our energy needs
- Understanding of the need for a sustainable energy future.
“Not surprisingly, our team has discovered that offering transparency and a clear, easy-to-understand outline of their energy usage and how to pay is really important,” said Nectr’s chief strategy officer, Hannah Heath.
“That’s why we’re investing in the latest technology to offer simple tools for our customers to manage their energy needs. Plus, our local team is also available to support customers as they make the transition across to Nectr.”
Nectr also found that its Nectr Friends Green plan, the retailer’s GreenPower option, received a massive uptake in interest amongst customers.
Unlike regular GreenPower options which tend to be carbon offset, Nectr purchases Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) and its parent company directly invests in Aussie wind, solar and hydro.
