Free Uber Eats and Kayo: The four energy deals to check out if you’re moving house

But luckily for Aussies with an upcoming moving day, there are a few things that might make the process a little easier.
Origin Energy, Alinta Energy, Momentum Energy and Lumo Energy have unveiled special offers for Aussies who are moving house and are looking to switch their energy plans.

Origin Energy
One unforeseen expense that comes with moving house is the cost of daily takeout until you unpack your cookware and get a new fridge. But from now until 31 March 2020, customers who are moving house and sign up to the Origin Basic plan may be eligible to receive free UberEats deliveries on 30 orders over three months.
How to get it: To sign up to the plan, customers will need to apply through the Origin Energy website, as this offer is only available online.
Alinta Energy
If you live in New South Wales and have got a couple of sports fanatics in your home, then Alinta Energy’s Sports Pack Energy Plan could be just what you’re looking for. While you don’t have to be moving house to sign up, the Sport Pack Energy Plan features a complimentary Kayo Basic 12 month subscription, valued at up to $300. Aussies who sign up will be able to stream over 50 sports, live and on demand.

Momentum Energy
And if you’re living in Victoria and are keen to save a few bucks during your move, then Momentum Energy may have just the thing. Customers who switch to the Momentum Energy’s Regular Movers plan will not only be able to get their move sorted in four steps, but will also have their standard connection fee waived and could be treated to a $50 welcome credit.

Lumo Energy
Finally, Lumo Energy are offering future movers in Victoria the chance to save on their connection and disconnection fees. So long as customers are on the Lumo Energy Movers Plan when they move house, they won’t be charged a disconnection or connection fee. The Movers Plan also features no lock-in contracts or exit fees.
