Woolworths home insurance: Give back with an award-winning policy this Christmas

Heading to Woolies for all your festive food supplies? Well, it may also be a good place to shop for home insurance as well, especially when every new policy this month helps feed Aussies in need. 

Since it is the season of giving after all, during the month of December every time someone takes out a new home insurance policy, Woolworths will donate $5 to OzHarvest, a food rescue charity that diverts food from going into landfill and provides meals to people who need it.

Earlier in the year, the Woolworths Standard Cover home insurance took out a 2019 Mozo Expert’s Choice Award in the Exceptional Value category. 

“Against the 49 providers we compared for the Exceptional Value home insurance category, Woolworths really proved to be amongst one of the best valued policies for the amount of cover it offered,” Mozo expert judge, Peter Marshall said. 

“From more than 15,000 customer quotes that we looked at across the board, Woolworths prices were consistently amongst the lowest when compared to what other providers were offering.”
