American Express launches Shop Small early to support small businesses
From helping out elderly neighbours to donating to vulnerable Aussie households, as a nation we’ve worked together to help those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Similarly, American Express credit card customers can now do their bit by supporting small businesses, and also enjoy a sweet reward thanks to the launch of the Shop Small campaign.
With the Shop Small campaign, customers who spend $10 or more in one transaction at participating small businesses will receive $5 cashback up to 10 times in-store and online.
While the Shop Small campaign is now in its eighth year and typically held in November, Amex is kicking things off earlier to offer its support to small businesses who were impacted by COVID-19.
According to Amex, this year’s Shop Small campaign will be its biggest ever, running all throughout winter.
To participate, customers need to make sure their American Express credit card is eligible for the campaign and head over to the Shop Small map to discover participating retailers.
But you’ll need to be quick, as this offer ends 31 August 2020.
