Mozo's tips to financially survive Click Frenzy
Choose the right credit card - If you’re a proud owner of a rewards card, now might be the time to put it to good use and rack up some points or reach the spending amount to score bonus points. Just make sure you’ll be able to pay off the balance to avoid the interest and if you’re going international, choose a card with no foreign exchange fee.
Give yourself a spending limit - Before you find yourself neck deep in major sales, overspending by the second, give yourself a spending limit in advance and stick to it. You may find that things you ‘needed’ were just split second love affairs.
Be aware of shipping costs - If your spending will reach a number of retailers, multiple shipping costs can really take a hit at your savings account. Play it safe by shopping at stores which automatically provide free shipping or offer it once you surpass a spending amount.
Don't forget to use your loyalty cards - We all have our favourites stores and if you’ve got a loyalty card to prove it, use it! This may help you score an additional discount at checkout or secure you some membership perks for later.
