Suncorp named Insurer of the Year in the 2018 Mozo Experts Choice Awards
It’s an exciting time of the year- the Mozo 2018 Experts Choice Insurance Award winners have been announced and Suncorp has been named Insurer of the Year by the Mozo judges.
In Mozo’s Experts Choice Awards, the experts analysed 217 products from 52 insurance providers over Car, Home and Contents and Landlords Insurance and awarded the highest performers in each category. The Insurer which consistently impressed and won awards across not only different levels of cover, but over multiple categories, then took out the grand title of Insurer of the Year.
“Suncorp has done well across the board - taking out awards for both quality and value car insurance, home and contents insurance, and contents only insurance,” said Mozo Data Manager, Peter Marshall.
In fact, in the Exceptional Value Car Insurance category, Suncorp took out two awards for it’s Comprehensive Extras and Comprehensive Advantages cover, a policy that won an Exceptional Quality Award as well.
“Their policies have earned them the top spot in this years Insurance Awards.”
Exceptional Quality vs Exceptional Value
The Mozo Experts Choice Insurance Awards are separated into two categories, Exceptional Quality and Exceptional Value, so that Aussies can easily find the type of policy they’re looking for.
The Exceptional Value Awards showcase the insurance policies in the Mozo database that offer an unbeatable combination of price and great features.
“Buying a home isn’t cheap and neither is a car, so Australians are looking to save where they can, and that’s where our Experts Choice Exceptional Value Awards come in, finding the best policies combining price and cover levels for home, car and landlords insurance,” said Marshall.
In the Exceptional Quality Awards, great features are king, and only the policies which had the highest standard of cover recieved awards.
Marshall explained that, “Even though everyone loves a bargain, if you’re going to splurge on insurance for anything, it should be your most expensive possessions such as your car or home. Accidents happen more often than you think and can leave you in a really bad spot.”
