Young Australians looking to grow their savings will appreciate Great Southern Bank’s Goal Saver Account, which offers competitive bonus rates to those between the ages of 18 and 24. When you sign up, you’ll be able to open an Everyday Edge Account, which is required to receive the bonus interest rate. So long as you deposit at least $500 into your Everyday Edge Account from a non-Great Southern Bank account and make at least five settled card transactions each month, you’ll be able to qualify for a maximum rate of 5.35% p.a.
The Great Southern Bank Goal Saver Account is only available to those between the ages of 18 and 24. When you turn 25, the account will convert to a Home Saver account.
If you’re not already a member of Great Southern Bank, signing up will require you to provide an email address, mobile number, and one form of ID (e.g. driver’s licence, passport or Medicare card). The account is only available to Australian residents aged between 18 and 24.
