15% online discount
Your choice of repairer
$600 unlisted driver excess
Up to $600 young driver excess
If you’re after a car insurance policy that has you covered for a range of events and gives you a few little freedoms like choosing a repairer or whether you want to insure your car at an agreed or market value than Budget Direct Comprehensive Car Insurance is definitely worth considering.
With Budget Direct’s Comprehensive Car Insurance you get quality cover for not only your car but the things that go in it too. If you have any young children, this policy will cover the cost to replace baby seats or capsules as well as any other personal property up to the value of $500 and you can also enjoy the peace of mind that comes with knowing you won’t have to fork out the necessary funds to replace any stolen car keys.
If your car is written off, not only can you enjoy the convenience of a 24/7 claims service but Budget Direct will replace your totalled car with a brand new set of wheels as long as it is less than 2 years old and has less than 40,000kms on the clock. Plus, if you buy Budget Direct Comprehensive Car Insurance online, you’ll be handed a 15% discount on your annual premium.
There are a couple features that don’t come as standard with this policy, however. Roadside assistance is an additional extra and while the costs to hire a rental if your car is stolen comes as standard, you’ll have to elect for rental costs following an accident to be covered as another additional extra.
Who it's good for:
Budget Direct Comprehensive Car Insurance is available across all of Australia, so if you are looking for a comprehensive level of cover at an affordable price tag, this could be the perfect policy for you.
Be aware of a couple of additional excesses when taking out this policy. Firstly, if a driver who isn’t listed on your policy is involved in an accident you’ll have to pay a $600 excess and if that driver is under the age of 25 you’ll have as much as an additional $600 young driver excess to pay out of your own pocket.
