Jean-Paul (JP) Pelosi is an experienced journalist and editor who has contributed to many of Australia's leading media outlets including The Guardian, News.com.au, Domain.com.au, Investment Magazine and ANZ's Bluenotes. He has also edited news and communications for large financial services companies such as CommBank, Suncorp, Allianz and Amex. He likes a well told story and applying his editorial experience to content that readers both care about and enjoy. JP heads up our writing team.

JP leads our editorial team with extensive experience in both finance content and online media strategy. He has also worked in communications for many of Australia's leading financial services firms, including CommBank, Suncorp, Allianz and TAL. 

JP's experience writing about the property and home loan markets in Australia is extensive, including stints and CommBank's MyWealth publication, Your Mortgage magazine and The Real Estate Conversation, and he has regularly contributed to Domain.com.au, Realestate.com.au, News.com.au and ANZ's BlueNotes to name a few. This work has seen him report on and interview some of the biggest property firms and thought leaders in the industry, from Aussie Home Loans founder John Symond and property author Michael Yardney, to respected buyers' agents Terry Ryder and Rich Harvey, as well as leading financial analysts at KPMG, Deloitte, NAB, CommBank and others. 

He also covered all the major real estate data and economics forums across Sydney over that time, speaking with experts at CoreLogic, SQM Research, Domain and the REA Group. In his time at Mozo, JP has expanded his knowledge to banking and savings, insurance, superannuation, digital payments, family finances, interest rates, consumer spending and leading economic trends.

Finally, JP has worked as a journalist for more than 20 years, writing about business and investing for publications such as Investment Magazine, sports for Inside Sport and The Roar, travel for The Sydney Morning Herald and The Sunday Telegraph, and human resources for Human Capital. He brings this broad experience and expert level of reporting, writing and publishing to the content of Mozo.
