AllClear plans

AllClear Gold Cover and Gold Plus Cover are offered whilst AllClear’s Traveller Cover is intended for those up to 66 years old. 

Before signing anything, just be sure to read the full product disclosure statement (PDS) before signing off on whichever insurance you choose. A copy of this can be found on AllClear’s website on the policy wordings tab with separate Gold and Traveller PDS’.

What is included in an AllClear international travel insurance policy?

AllClear offers cover for cancellation, curtailment, missed departures, travel delays, personal accidents (including permanent injury or death), personal property, and personal public liability across Gold, Gold Plus, and Traveller cover. Benefits, exclusions, and excesses may apply to your policy, depending on the coverage tier.

Does AllClear travel insurance have COVID-19 coverage?

Yes, however only in certain circumstances. If you medically test positive for COVID-19 after you purchase your travel insurance, you are entitled to cancellation or amendment. 

If you catch COVID during your trip outside of Australia and are hospitalized, need to return earlier, or stay longer on your trip then you must contact you must have contacted Europ Assistance before a claim can be made.

What other optional extras can I add to my AllClear policy?

Are you planning a winter getaway? Thinking of hitting the green? AllClear offers optional extras for winter sports and golfing in their policy across all three of their policies. These can tailor your coverage for your adventure, but be aware that they may also increase your premium. Read the product disclosure statement and submit for a quote to see how your coverage affect the price. 

Are pre-existing medical conditions covered under AllClears’s travel insurance? 

Yes. AllClear covers over 1300 conditions and will take into consideration other conditions on a case by case basis.

Just take note that AllClear will not provide cover for certain conditions and those conditions that you did not disclose to them beforehand or were not accepted in writing. All conditions must be disclosed and accepted in writing by AllClear during the application process. 

What do I do if there’s an emergency during my trip?

If you have a medical emergency during your trip, AllClear’s Europe assistance provides a 24/7 emergency service that can be contacted via phone or fax. 

How do I make a claim with AllClear travel insurance?

If you want to make a claim, you need to get a claim form by telephoning or writing to the claims service within 28 days of your returning and describing which section of the policy you are claiming under. 

Is it possible to cancel my AllClear travel insurance policy?

If during the 14-day cooling-off period, you decide that AllClear’s travel insurance isn’t for you, you may be able to cancel with a refund of the premium that you paid. Keep in mind that this is only valid if you have not undertaken a trip that the insurance applies for or have made a claim under said insurance.

Also, if you cancel after the 14-day cooling-off period, you will only receive a proportion of the premium for the outstanding period of cover.
