Kogan originally started out as an online tech retailer, but its portfolio has grown significantly to include insurance, internet, mobile plans and financial products. The Kogan Money credit card is issued by NAB and gives you the opportunity to earn Kogan Rewards Points to redeem on Kogan’s online store.
No annual fee
Up to 44 interest free days on purchases
Complimentary Kogan First membership
Rewards points only redeemable on Kogan
Interest rate is higher than average
If you frequently shop online on Kogan, the Kogan Money Black Card could be a good fit for you. There’s no annual fee, plus you can benefit from a complimentary Kogan First membership which gives you free shipping on eligible products, access to member-only discounts and other perks.
You’ll also earn two rewards points for every dollar spent on eligible purchases on Kogan, and one point per dollar spent on eligible everyday purchases.
However, a disadvantage of Kogan’s rewards program is that points can only be redeemed on Kogan’s website. This is quite limiting when you consider that other providers allow you to convert points to other rewards programs that are arguably more valuable, such as Flybuys, Qantas Frequent Flyer or Velocity Frequent Flyer.
We like that Kogan Money offers up to 44 interest free days on new purchases, and Mozo readers are eligible to receive 0% p.a. interest for nine months.
Once you’re past this period, however, the purchase rate jumps up to 21.99% p.a., which puts it into the higher end of the credit card market.
Get 0% p.a. on purchases and balance transfers for 9 months with a 1% balance transfer fee. Reverts to cash advance rate. $0 annual fee to pay. Earn 2 rewards points per dollar on your eligible purchases at Kogan.com & 1 rewards point per dollar on your everyday purchases, almost anywhere (T&Cs apply). FREE Kogan First membership valued at $129/year. Add up to 4 additional cardholders at no cost.

The way they operate is not good. You don't get up-to-date balance enquiries. I will be looking to close my account with them soon. And their rates are too high
Avoid Kogan Money! They leaked my personal data and made 2 unauthorised transactions under this card, valued at 500 USD!!!! The client services representative that I first contacted didn't even lodge a dispute on my behalf and nothing was actioned until I called a week later for a follow-up, before they lodged a dispute on the transactions. Weeks later I called and they said 6 to 8 weeks, then said 6 to 8 weeks again when I called weeks later. It's ridiculous that it takes them forever all the while I was unable to log onto my account. This should be reported to the consumer authority!!!!
