Never apply for a home loan with this bank. They wasted our time and took weeks to get back to us. We met every criteria to get our first home loan and they kept making up excuse after excuse, even after doing the things we were told we needed to. They left everything till last minute TWICE and lost us TWO houses that we had put offers on, and spent money getting building inspections done. Customer service was terrible and the assessor was very rude. Went with another bank and got our home loan straight away.
I have banked with Auswide Bank since moving from a bigger bank around two years ago, and it was the best banking decision I have made. Their customer service has been beyond fantastic, with an outstanding personal touch, availability, and fast turnaround times on any requests or support messages. Their internet banking is great and simple to use, and their app is also great, especially after its recent update, which brought it into the modern age. Auswide's account numbering system (a throwback to their old mutual society days) has caused the odd small challenge, but in reality, it works fine. I would absolutely recommend Auswide Bank to anyone who had the opportunity to shift their banking to them.
I have dealt with this bank for a number of years and they have always offered excellent customer service - which for me is no.1 priority if you ever want me back. There products are comparable with others and the are conveniently located. The other big plus is you can call your branch direct and not have to go through a centralised call centre.
Myself I have always received good service from the staff although others my differ from this.
