I like ANZ but in some ways other banks are way above them
Banked with ANZ for over 53 years never had any major problems
Bank have been reliable but unfortunately despite 23 years as a customer seems to be very little loyalty. Last few years has involved increased fees in almost all areas
Easy to use the mobile banking app and can also open another savings account quickly. Common ATM's and branches
Nothing bad to say, I only bank online with their app which is great and so easy to use. The only time I had an issue I had to call them and they sorted the problem for me so all good.
My experience with ANZ has been easy going from the start. Customer service has always been helpful. With everything these days. Rising costs, fees are more apparent than ever just as they are pricey, and there are less branches open, you just keep shutting them not thinking of our elderly community that relies on in petson banking, shame on you. should this not lower costs? Leasing space, furniture, electricity, staffing cost have lowered if not disappeared to some point due to these actions. Should these savings not be passed to customers? I'm sure in a few months we will hear ANZ have again year made record profits this year, in the billions all while people go without food to pay your exorbitant fees. Yeah I have lost trust and faith in the banking system.
Been using for many years and never had a single issue. Lost my card, no problem here's a new one. Needed adjustments or documentation, sorted instantly.
I feel ANZ are quite handy to bank with as the online banking system is quite efficient and easy. Mostly the customer service at the other end via phone is good, I have had to discuss fees coming out before and they have been good enough to waive them. I would consider the as one of the best banks to deal with via telephone. Unfortunately there are less people at the banks now and that some are shutting down, this would be my only fault. As I believe humans prefer to interact with people to find solutions, it is easier than talking on the phone or on a message system via an App or website.
The have always been helpful
