BankVic, formally the Police Credit Union VIC, is a mutual bank wholly owned by its members. BankVic offers financial services for people working in police, health, emergency and public services along with their family and friends. Personal banking products available at BankVic include credit cards, home loans, insurance and financial advice.
We have almost $500k in savings with BankVic. We also have a $386k Investment Property loan. We have sold the investment property and over $400k was sent to BankVic as part of the settlement on Friday. I called today (Monday) to find out what was happening with the loan. BankVic's response was that they did not know anything about the payment. They later called back to say they had found the money but apparently do not know what to do with it. I tried escalating this to senior management. Senior management won't speak to me because it is beneath them to speak to a member and the loans department won't speak to me because I have escalated the issue to senior management.
BankVic is smaller, more personable, better service
We really love this bank as they have been ours for years, the credit card is easy to use, accepted everywhere, never been hacked or scammed and the cash back credit easily covers the annual fee every year, really like having a credit card for nothing. As a younger couple we appreciate that it covers itself and the team in person are fantastic and very helpful. Definitely recommend them
BankVic is less complicated than larger banks. They deliver what I need, when I need it, with ideal customer service
