I've been using the St. George Vertigo Credit Card for a while now, and I'm impressed with the low interest rates compared to competitors. It's been a great option for balance transfers, saving me money in the long run. The rewards program is straightforward, though I'd love to see more flexibility in redemption options. Customer service has always been helpful, especially during the sign-up process. On the downside, the app can be a bit slow at times, but overall, I'm happy with the convenience and benefits.
St George has friendly tellers and an excellent website for Australian banking. However, as a customer of over 25 years, it is rather annoying to have to pay $32 for an international bank transfer just because the online form is lacking anywhere to put a personal reference which makes it uncertain that the payee recognizes the transaction. I would like to see an official reference number section of the form.
