And what’s really special about the Bank of Melbourne Rewards program is that 4 weeks out from your birthday, you’ll be gifted with an additional 10% of bonus points, from the points you earn in the last 12 months (eligible cards only).

How to redeem your points

In order to redeem your points, you’ll have to open a Bank of Melbourne Amplify Rewards account via the website. Here you’ll be able to view your points balance and browse the store to find rewards you'd like to redeem. 

You can choose your reward through the online shop and have it sent directly to your door. And just like regular postage, you’ll be able to track your delivery, so you’ll be in the loop of when you can expect your reward.

Are my Amplify Points capped?

No, you’ll be able to build your points stash as you see fit. You might also be happy to know that your points won’t ever expire, so you won’t have to worry about missing out on a reward. It also means that you can give yourself some breathing room by spending more steadily.

Where won't I earn points?

While you can earn Bank of Melbourne Amplify Rewards Points on everyday spending, you won’t earn points on the following: 

  • Cash advances 
  • Interest and bank fee charges 
  • Balance transfers 
  • BPAY payments 
  • Government charges
Can my points be converted into Airline points?

Yes, you are able to redeem your Amplify points for flights and other travel perks, just keep in mind that you will need a minimum of 3,000 points in order to do this. Aside from there being three rewards credit cards that are linked to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program, you’ll also be able to convert your Amplify points into Velocity Points.
