The Coles Group Mastercard is part of the Coles Group, owners of the well known Australian Coles supermarkets. The Coles signature suite of credit cards offers a wide range of savings and rewards on everyday purchases.
Plus it won two 2023 Mozo People's Choice Awards.
My card was used in Boston - card cancelled. Then within three weeks new card used in South America. This card cancelled. Second new card not activated, still receiving charges to it. I have no faith that Coles can keep these cards secure.
An appalling company. Their customer service is particularly reprehensible and useless. I moved and tried countless times to change my address. The website has zero functionality and so I was forced to speak with their awful customer service team. They apparently seemed unable to change my address and so promised a call back when the computer would work again. After a week this never happened and as a consequence I felt very uninsured at my new address so requested to cancel. I lost 200$ in 10 days of cover somehow and was promised a refund. 2 weeks later I still haven't received the refund so I call their hopeless team who advise me that a cheque was issued to the old address!!! And when I ask that this be refunded back to my card so I can purchase a policy elsewhere I am all of the accounts team are in a meeting and can be disturbed for an hour. And to top it off, they have the soul destroying Centrelink music to listen to. Do yourself a favour and DO NOT PURCHASE FROM COLES CAR INSURANCE THEY ARE TERRIBLE!!!!!
A breach in the pipe inside my laundry wall cracked, resulting in water gushing out when the tap was turned on. As it leaked inside the wall behind the laundry cabinet, it was not noticed for some time. It resulted in mould developing in the wall. When I noticed it I contacted Coles and they had a builders assessment done and after the inspection they quoted a repair price. Soon after this they told me that I wasn't covered, as the clause in the water damage policy stated that I am not covered for a" slow leak over time, even if It went unnoticed." After countless phone calls and emails, they refused to honour my claim, even though it wasn't a slow leak over time, it was water gushing out of a crack, when the tap was turned on.
