What optional extras can I add to my PetCover pet insurance?

PetCover has quite a few optional extras for different covers. From day to day care cover to multi-pet discounts, cover for veterinary costs, saddlery and tack extras, and loss of not returning whilst flying, PetCover offers a lot of optional extras for your pet. 

Check your Certificate of Insurance for any of the optional extras available for your pet. 

What exclusions apply to PetCover pet insurance?

If your pet falls sick during the waiting period at the start of your policy (different for different policy covers) then that will be excluded and will not apply to your cover.

Other than this, usually most pet insurance providers do not cover any pre-existing conditions that your pet might have. Since PetCover has a lot of different policies for you to choose from, it is best to check your certificate of insurance and your policy’s PDS. 

How do I make a claim with PetCover?

To make a claim with PetCover, all you need to do is fill out the claim form available either on the PetCover website or contact them on 1300 738 225 or claims.au@petcovergroup.com. Once you have filled out the claim form, submit your claim with all the required documents at the same email address or post your claim to the following address:

With PetCover, you also have the option where the vet will directly be paid. You just need to have an agreement in place with your vet before you submit your claim. In fact, your vet can submit the claim as well. 

Can I cancel my PetCover pet insurance?

You can cancel your policy anytime you like. All you have to do is write to them on loyalty.au@petcovergroup.com, call them on 1300 731 324 or fill out the form available on their website. 

Make sure all your claims are processed and paid for before you cancel.
