Mozo founded the People’s Choice Awards for two reasons: to give customers a real voice in the money marketplace; and to give Australia’s true stars the chance to shine. Now in their ninth year, the Mozo People’s Choice Awards recognise organisations with the highest customer satisfaction levels in their industries. The award winners are determined by the results of a nationwide survey conducted by Ipsos on behalf of Mozo. Thousands of Australians were asked to rate the companies they are genuine customers of, with questions focussed on overall customer satisfaction, customer service levels, trustworthiness, friendliness and more.
In 2018, we received survey data on 148 different banking institutions, 40 car insurers, 50 home insurers and 32 electricity retailers. For details on how we determined the award winners, see our methodology report.
