Cheapest interest rate on variable
Generally customer service is good with short wait times. Friendly staff. Product is good with competitive to no account fees. Good for those who use internet & phone banking but due to lack of branches it’s not great for customers who bank in person at a branch. This also makes processing times slower than the big four.
Not possible to setup an SMSF Term Deposit online even if you already have an SMSF account with the bank. Their claim of taking just 5 minutes to set up a Term Deposit is false.

After doing extensive research, I found Great Southern Bank provided the most competitive offers especially when it came to the potential for a Balance Transfer offer on Credit Cards, which is incredibly timely due to the current cost of living crisis affecting so many Australians. Their customer service is friendly, approachable & with a can-do attitude. Will definitely look to Great Southern Bank for future banking needs.
