Useless when you need it

Unable to replace a damaged bumper bar in a timely manner. I had to get it fixed myself at my own cost as they had no approved repairers in the area. Left me stranded. No panel beaters in the area will work for them and claims person could not tell me where they would be taking my car while they found a repairer and expected me to leave my car with luggage and pets on the side of a country road and walk 50kms topics up a hire car. Very lengthy claims process, person had no idea about anything. Really wasn't worth paying for the cover if you can't use it when needed. RACV do not care about their customers, not even if you e been with them for 40+ years. A month after the event I still did not get a quote from their assessors.

Great value

We have been with other car insurance companies in the past like AAMI and seniors insurance but RACV has been the best move and we can't believe we weren't with them earlier. We never have accidents which are our fault but once or twice when we have had accidents through fault of others, corresponding with RACV has been fantastic and efficient, and they are the cheapest as well. No cons with them so far.

Ticks all boxes when it comes to car insurances.

Firstly the customer service representative I spoke to was extremely helpful and thorough when explaining the insurance package and making sure that you understand what you are agreeing to and happy with decision you make I can't really say I have had any cons as yet I haven't been with them that long But so far they have seemed fair The only thing I would suggest keeping an eye on when joining make sure they have all the details correct I love the fact you can call at anytime and speak with someone on the phone to set you up and the fact you are covered from then on even though the first instalment doesn't come out til after 21 days on a date agreed to with the phone representative

Great insurers

I have been with RACV for about 15 years now, and have always found them amazing to deal with. They provide a multi policy discount as my husband is insured with them too as is our house. Great customer service too. Wouldn't go with anyone else.
