The Citi Platinum card will get your points stash off to a roaring start, letting you bag 10,000 bonus points each month you spend $1,000 for the first 20 months after card approval. All up, that’s as many as 200,000 bonus points! On top of that, you can score perks like upgraded hotel rooms and shopping discounts through the Citi World Privileges Program. And not only is the annual fee discounted in the first year, but spend $24,000 in a year and you’ll also be able to snag a 50% discount on the next year’s fee.
Citi - Premier
- Up to 300,000 bonus points
- $195 annual fee in the first year ($395 after)
- 2 points per $1 spent overseas, uncapped
How does 300,000 bonus points to kickstart your stash sound? With the Citi Rewards Signature card, you can score 15,000 bonus points a month for the first 20 months after card approval, as long as you spend $1,000 in the month. Plus, uncapped points earning on your regular spend and free wine every time you dine with the Citibank Dining Program. If the annual fee looks a little steep then don’t worry - each year that you spend $48,000, the next year’s annual fee will be cut in half!
Citi - Prestige
For the most dedicated rewards aficionados, the Citi Prestige card comes with a massive 400,000 bonus point offer. With this card, you’ll be able to get your hands on a whopping 20,000 bonus points each month you spend $1,000 for the first 20 months. Plus, you’ll earn 1 point per $1 spent on regular purchases, and 3 points per $1 when you spend internationally. But there’s more - you can also snag one complimentary night per year at one of 80 premium hotels, Priority Pass access to over 700 airport lounges and access to a VIP Limo Service.
