MetLife offers 3-month life insurance premium waiver to help flood affected Aussies

While the NSW and Queensland floods are now at bay, many residents are still feeling the flow-on effects of the disaster. The NSW SES alone responded to over 12,000 requests for help and conducted more than 1,000 direct flood rescues.

Now, life insurance company MetLife is offering current customers premium waivers for the three months between 10 March to 10 June 2021 to help people get back on track financially. This will be available to customers living in the NSW and QLD flood affected areas as shown on the government’s Disaster Assist website.

Customers will need to get in contact with MetLife to take up the offer – for more information on how the process will work call 1800 523 523.

Banks and the government were quick to respond with emergency support options for flood affected customers back in March.
