*The Comparison Rate combines the lender's interest rate, fees and charges into a single rate to show the true cost of a personal loan. The comparison rates displayed are calculated based on a loan of $30,000 for a term of 5 years or a loan of $10,000 for a term of 3 years as indicated, based on monthly principal and interest repayments, on a secured basis for secured loans and an unsecured basis for unsecured loans. WARNING: This comparison rate applies only to the example or examples given. Different amounts and terms will result in different comparison rates. Costs such as redraw fees or early repayment fees, and cost savings such as fee waivers, are not included in the comparison rate but may influence the cost of the loan.

What personal loans do UniBank offer?

Unsecured personal loan

Dubbed the “All Purpose Loan”, this unsecured loan is a good all-rounder. As well as being UniBank’s only loan type suitable for debt consolidation, you can also take it out for  a home reno or wedding. The interest rate is variable, meaning UniBank may decide to change it over the loan term. The All Purpose Loan is an unsecured loan so you won’t need to tie it to an asset, you’ll just pay slightly higher interest rate. Loan amounts start from $2,000 to $80,000 and can be repaid on a term of up to six years. You can make extra repayments and pay zero fees, plus a fee-free redraw facility is also available to withdraw funds from any extra loan repayments. No break fees apply to the All Purpose Loan, and another bonus is the lack of monthly account-keeping costs with the exception of a one-off starter fee.

Car loan

Vintage car lovers looking for a loan, this type could be your one. The UniBank car loan finances new or used cars up to ten years old, plus classic cars 30+. Loan features are almost identical to the All Purpose Loan listed above, but you have the option to secure the vehicle against the loan for a lower variable interest rate. Loan amounts begin at $2,000 up to the $50,000 mark. With the UniBank car loan you can jazz up your car with accessories and include the cost in the grand total.

Travel loan

A UniBank travel loan helps finance holidays that cost between $2,000 to $30,000 and is repaid over a maximum term of five years. Not only does this product have the same nifty features as the UniBank’s All Purpose Loan , you can enjoy your holiday and pay less in interest thanks to a lower variable rate.
