Our verdict

Fetch pet insurance offers a comprehensive and flexible option for cats or dogs with coverage limits of up to $30,000 annually, well above average for many insurers. This extensive coverage includes not only the standard vet costs for illnesses and accidents but also dental injuries, behavioural therapy, and complementary therapies like acupuncture.

A unique feature is the emergency boarding provision. If you (the pet’s owner) are hospitalised, pets can receive care for up to two weeks at a licensed kennel or cattery if no one else is in your household or family are available to look after them.

Fetch’s policies are designed to be adaptable to various needs, allowing you to select your coverage percentage and excess level. This flexibility makes it easier for pet owners to tailor their policies to their specific budget and requirements. However, it’s important to note that certain exclusions apply, such as pre-existing conditions and routine care like vaccinations and grooming.

Fetch’s commitment to providing a broad range of treatments and services, including more specialised care, makes it a solid choice for those seeking thorough protection for their pets. With its high annual benefits, comprehensive coverage options, and the ability to customise your plan, Fetch can provide peace of mind for pet owners looking for robust insurance.
