Frequently asked questions about Fetch pet insurance

What is included in Fetch’s pet insurance policy?

From emergency boarding to dental care to behavioural cover, Fetch’s pet insurance policy covers almost everything, with a complementary therapy course of acupuncture or cold laser.

Fetch’s pet insurance policy covers consultations, surgery, medication and hospitalisation.

(Read the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) in detail beforehand to know if the insurance cover does not include any of your needs.)

What optional extras can I add to my Fetch insurance?

With Fetch’s pet insurance policy, you can waive off the waiting period and also make claims in a transparent way. As mentioned above, you can also get a complementary therapy course.

What exclusions apply to Fetch pet insurance?

re-existing conditions are generally not included in any pet insurance policy. For example, Fetch doesn’t cover any bilateral or linked conditions related to the pre-existing conditions. But other than that, Fetch pet insurance will not cover the costs of your pet’s routine care like bathing, grooming, clipping, de-matting, coat treatments, or shampoos. It also does not cover the cost of breeding or desexing your pet or any pet accessories costs.

Read the terms and conditions of your policy to check what you’re covered for in the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS).

How do I make a claim with Fetch pet insurance?

With Fetch pet insurance, you or your vet can submit a claim and check its progress on the app. If you have Fast Claims enabled, all you need to do is send your invoices and the recent history and your vet’s notes from the visit.

(Check with Fetch if you have any queries regarding your claim. You can chat with them on the app, or email them at: support@fetchpet.au).

Can I cancel my Fetch  pet insurance?

Cancelling your Fetch pet insurance policy is easy. All you have to do is let Fetch know via app’s chat. Fetch will refund you with the remaining days for the month.

In addition to that, as a first time policyholder, you can cancel with the 14-day cooling off period and get a full refund. Make sure you have not made any claims during this period.
