Points lovers will now be able to earn 120,000 bonus Qantas Points when they spend over $3,000 on their new card in the first 60 days and keep their card open for over 12 months. NAB has even reduced the first year card fee to $295, though it reverts back to $395 afterwards. Speaking of points, cardholders will be able to earn 1 Qantas Point for every dollar spent up to $5,000, then 0.5 Qantas Points for each $1 spent between $5,001 and $20,000 each month.

The verdict

NAB’s Rewards Signature Card is sure to turn heads, especially after the latest changes. New cardholders who are able to spend over $3,000 in the first 60 days and keep their card open for over 12 months will be able to earn 120,000 NAB Reward Points - up from 90,000. But that’s not all, because you’ll also be able to pile up the points thanks to the uncapped 1.25 points per $1 spent earn rate. The card also comes with seven complimentary insurances including travel insurance and purchase protection, but just remember to take the $295 annual fee into account.
