Qantas Money - Qantas Premier Platinum

- $149 annual fee in the first year ($299 after)

The Qantas Money Qantas Premier Platinum comes with 70,000 bonus points when you spend $3,500 within 90 days of card approval and an extra 30,000 bonus points after first anniversary of the card. Plus, cash in on freebies like discounts on domestic Qantas flights, two complimentary airport lounge passes per year and complimentary overseas travel insurance.
American Express - Explorer® Credit Card
- 50,000 bonus points when you apply online and spend $3,000 within 3 months

For all the globe trekking explorers out there, this popular American Express card comes with free international travel insurance, 2 complimentary lounge entries at Sydney International Airport and uncapped points earning power. There’s great value when you’re at home too, with extras like purchase protection and smartphone screen insurance. Plus, the $395 annual fee is cancelled out by the $400 annual travel credit. No wonder it took out an award in the Velocity Frequent Flyer Premium Credit Card category.
ANZ - Frequent Flyer Black

The ANZ Frequent Flyer Black won an award for Best Qantas Frequent Flyer Premium Credit Card - and it’s not surprising given all the extras on offer. This premium card is a favourite with big spending Qantas frequent flyers and the massive bonus points offer is hard to beat. For an annual fee of $425 you’ll earn 1 Qantas point per $1 on regular spends with this card, up to $7,500 a month, then 0.5 points per $1. You'll also enjoy complimentary perks like a concierge service, international travel insurance, extended warranty and price guarantee.
American Express - Velocity Escape Card
- $0 annual fee
- Double Velocity points on spends with Virgin Australia
- 0% on balance transfers for the first 12 months
Want all the points earning power without the price tag? The American Express Velocity Escape Card has no annual fee, a regular points earn rate of 0.75 points per $1 spent (1 point per $1 until 14 April 2019) and to top it all off, just took out an award in the Velocity Frequent Flyer Credit Card category. It also comes with perks including purchase protection and up to 4 additional cardholders for no extra fee.
American Express - Qantas Ultimate Card
