With an Auswide Bank credit card, you’ll have 55 interest free days to pay off your balance before you start being charged interest on it. But keep in mind that as with any credit card, this 55 day period starts at the beginning of your statement cycle, not when you make a purchase.
So if you buy a new T.V. 25 days into your statement cycle, you’ll actually only have 30 days to pay it off before the interest charges come rolling in.
Each Auswide Bank credit card comes with an annual fee (which is much higher for the premium rewards option). You might also pay cash advance and foreign exchange fees, depending on how you plan to use our card.
Yes! Balance transfer offers are a handy way to manage credit card balances, by giving yourself a 0% interest period. During this period, you can gain some breathing room to pay off old debts.
You can use either Auswide Bank credit card for a balance transfer, but keep in mind that the length of your zero interest period will depend on which card you get. It’s important to keep an eye on how long you have to pay off the balance, because if you have anything left owing at the end of this period, you’ll start being charged interest on it at the much higher cash rate.
Auswide Bank credit cards work on the MasterCard system. That means that you can use the PayPass system to pay for small shopping trips by ‘tapping’ your credit card.

Westpac has always understood older people. They don't get pedantic when you have made an honest mistake and slug you a fee but if a fee was applied with good communication problems are soon resolved. Their card is held in high esteem overseas and I thank Westpac for a job well done.

I have never in 50 years had any question about the service with this product. My payments are direct debited each month and when they did charge for late payment because of the weekend that amount was promptly reimbursed on my statement.
