Mozo Review   Bankwest Breeze Mastercard Review

Last updated: 4 April 2018.

What's hot:
  • 0% purchase rate for 13 months (then 12.99% p.a.)

  • 0% p.a. on balances transferred for 13 months with a 2% fee

  • Balance transfer offer reverts to low 12.99% purchase rate

What's not:
  • 21.99% p.a. cash advance rate

Mozo snapshot:

The Bankwest Breeze Mastercard is is a great card for day-to-day spending with 0% interest for the first 13 months, then a low purchase ongoing purchase rate of just 12.99%. Throw in the 0% balance transfer offer for 13 months, and this could be a top choice to help you pay off your current credit card debt.

Key features:

With 13 months interest free up front and a low 12.99% purchase rate after that, the Bankwest Breeze Mastercard has one of the lowest credit card interest rates of the major players, which you've got to love.

If you need to clear a debt from an old card, you can also take advantage of the balance transfer offer which gives you 13 months interest free, before reverting to the ongoing 12.99% purchase rate - which is still a pretty low rate if you wind up having some of your balance left over. Just keep in mind the 2% balance transfer fee. Limited time only.

The Breeze Mastercard still represents good value for those looking to minimise interest charges. And you can enjoy the low rate spending with your loved ones thanks to the 3 additional cardholders option.

Who it's good for:

With an interest free introductory period followed by a low 12.99% rate on purchases, the Bankwest Breeze Mastercard is the perfect addition to a shopper's wallet.

Any catches?

The Breeze Mastercard draws the line of low rates at cash advances, with a miserable 21.99%. Also keep an eye on the late payment fee which comes in at $25 - which can make for some unhappy banking. But stay on top of your credit card admin and use this card wisely - like we know you will - and you'll enjoy smooth sailing.
