2020 Mozo People’s Choice Awards: Australia’s favourite way to stay connected

Aussies love to stay connected. Whether it’s FaceTiming friends and family overseas, keeping up with the latest in a group chat, sharing recipes on Insta or uploading yet another dance routine on TikTok. 

Luckily enough, for those who can’t imagine a day without reliable mobile reception and lightning-speed internet, we’ve just dropped the 2020 Mozo People’s Choice Awards for both Mobile Plans and NBN.  

We put the question to the people to get to the nitty gritty of which providers Aussies think are doing the best in terms of customer satisfaction, value for money, clear billing, most recommended, connection quality and, service and support.

It’s no secret that many of us are glued to our phones, or forced to admit it every time our screen time report pops up each week.

So, for the first time ever, we’ve launched the Mobile Plans category as part of the 2020 People’s Choice Awards! 

This allowed customers to score mobile plan providers in terms of customer satisfaction, value for money, clear billing and whether they’d recommend them to others. 

This year proved that it’s time to move over Telstra and Vodafone, because three smaller providers stole the show with a full sweep across all four categories: Aldi Mobile, amaysim and Kogan Mobile. Plus, there were a couple of other notable winners that proved satisfactory to Aussie customers.

Australia's Best NBN Providers

Whether you’re a Netflix binger, working from home or love looking up make-up tutorials online, having a good internet provider has never been more important. 

While connection quality is one of the four categories in the 2020 People’s Choice Awards for NBN, customers also ranked providers in terms of customer satisfaction, service and support, as well as most recommended.   

In 2020, there were four outlying NBN providers that Aussies love: Aussie Broadband, Internode, Belong and iPrimus. So without further ado, here’s a rundown of the awards they won this year!
