Classic Advantages Home Insurance |
With Suncorp Building Insurance, you’ll be able to have your own choice of excess along with a multi-policy discount if you combine policies. Plus, if your hold a seniors card and live in Queensland, you’ll be able to score an extra discount. You won’t need to worry if you think your home has been undervalued, as underinsurance protection is also offered.
Your home is a major emotional and financial investments. With Suncorp Classic Extras Home Insurance (Suncorp's mid-range building insurance tier out of its three levels) you can rest easy knowing it’ll be adequately protected. You’ll receive cover for your home against events such as natural disasters like fires and floods, as well as theft and vandalism. But as with any insurance policy, not every event can be covered, and you should know that power and storm surges are not.
As this is a building insurance policy, the structure of your home will be covered, including permanent fixtures, floor, walls and roofs along with any building materials if you ever decide to renovate. Your gates and fences will also be covered, along with landscaping. Lock replacements, temporary repairs, debris removal and demolition costs are also covered. Plus, if you ever need to move out of home, Suncorp Classic Extras Home Insurance will temporarily cover the accommodation costs for you and your pet.
Suncorp Classic Extras Home Insurance is the perfect choice for homeowners who don't need cover for their contents, like an investor renting out a property, but want a high level of cover for the structure of their home at a reasonable price.
Suncorp Classic Extras Home Insurance does not offer new for old replacement for your home. Instead, you’ll be insured up to an agreed upon sum. If you are concerned about getting cover for specific areas in your home, like that tool shed harbouring thousands of dollars worth of trade tools, it’s recommended that you list these areas separately in your policy.
You also should know that although you are given the option to pay your premium monthly, you will have to pay extra for this.
