Citi relaunches Prestige Credit Card with 150,000 bonus points offer!
After months on hiatus, the Citi Prestige Credit Card is back in town and with it comes the opportunity to earn 150,000 bonus Citi Rewards Points.
Citi is offering anyone who signs up for the card before 31 March 2020 and is approved, the possibility to give their rewards points balance a big 150K boost. Before you sign on the dotted line, you should know that to earn the bonus points, you will have to spend $5,000 within the first 90 days of approval.
Is it worth it? Well, that really depends on your individual spending habits. If you aren’t already planning to spend $5,000 within three months, upping your spending just to get the points may not be a very clever strategy.
What you can get for 150,000 Citi Rewards Points?
If you’re a frequent flyer you might be interested to hear that you can convert Citi Points to Emirates Skywards Miles, Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Miles or Velocity Frequent Flyer Points. Your 150,000 Citi Points will equate to roughly the following in frequent flyer rewards points:
• Emirates Skywards Miles, 50,000
• Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Miles, 50,000
• Velocity Frequent Flyer Points, 60,000
Or if you’re not planning on jetting off anywhere anytime soon, you can convert the points into Flybuys Points and use them to pay for your groceries at Coles. Although it should be noted that if you’re looking to pay for something urgently, a points transfer could take up to 28 days to show up in the account you’re transferring to.
If you are considering getting a rewards credit card, Citi isn’t the only card provider with current bonus points offers, below are some other offers available.
