Mozo Review   BankSA No Annual Fee Review

Last updated: 28 June 2018.

What's hot:
  • No annual fee

  • 0% balance transfer for 12 months (1% BT fee)

What's not:
  • 20.49% purchase rate

Mozo snapshot:

For credit card customers that make sure to always pay their bill on time, the BankSA No Annual Fee may be the perfect piece of plastic. The card comes with a bunch of great features, such as the 0% balance transfer offer for 12 months (1% BT fee), 3 free additional cardholders and up to 55 interest free days. Although, in return for the lack of annual fee, you’ll be holding a card with a 20.49% purchase rate.

Key features:

Arguably the most enticing aspect of the BankSA No Annual Fee credit card is that you won’t have to pay a fee just for having it in your wallet. The great thing about this is that if you make sure to pay off your spending each month before the purchase rate kicks in, you’ll effectively be able to use the card for free.

To make doing so super simple, you’ll have up to 55 interest free days each month to pay off your balance and avoid the 20.49% purchase rate.

The card offers a 0% balance transfer rate for the first 12 months, giving you some breathing room to pay off lingering debts from other cards in that first year. Be aware that any debt transferred onto BankSA No Annual Fee will come with a 1% balance transfer fee and after 12 months, the 0% balance transfer rate jumps to 20.49% for any balance leftover.

You’ll also have the option for 3 free additional cardholders, so you can share the account with your family for no additional cost.

Who it's good for:

If you're the kind of spender who pays your balance in full and on time each month, the BankSA No Annual fee credit card might be the right fit for you, because with no annual fee to worry about, you’ll be able to use the card basically for free.

Any catches?

Also, for those using the card to blast existing debt, make sure you have a plan to clear your balance within the 12 month 0% balance transfer period. After that, any leftover debt will attract interest at the high rate of 20.49%.

I strongly like this bank because they are very trustworthy with my money and always help me through my depths for paying bills and loans. The service I experienced from this bank was very convincing and polite, but I was very nervous because I had never used banking online because I never trusted it till now. I hope that everybody who signs up for this bank is very happy and satisfied.

Their interest rate is over the top and doesn't look like its going to go down. They are a very greedy bank, who put money before customers, have never offered me rewards for being with them so long. Not happy with them but now retired so can't change.

My credit card is easy to use. It's hooked up through my home loan so I don't have any fees and I get the added bonus of getting Qantas frequent flyer points when I spend.
