With a name that sounds as striking as its features, the Qantas Money Qantas Premier Titanium card is one to look out for. As far as reward go, you can snag 150,000 bonus Qantas Points when you apply before 24 February 2021 and spend $5,000 within 90 days of card approval, plus earn 1.25 Qantas points per $1 spent. Even with the hefty $1,200 annual fee, with all the perks on offer, big spenders can surely get their money's worth.
The Qantas Money Qantas Premier Titanium card is designed for big spenders who don’t mind paying an annual fee when there’s plenty of rewards value on offer. And that’s definitely the case here - this card offers competitive rewards points earning options and great complimentary features - an especially rewarding option for Qantas flyers.
To start your point stash off on the right foot, if you apply before 24 February 2021 you can score 150,000 bonus Qantas Points when you spend $5,000 within 90 days of card approval. For regular spending, here’s how the point system breaks down:
- 1.25 points per $1 spent on spending in Australia, up to $12,500 each month (0.5 points per $1 after)
- 2 points per $1 spent on international spending (don’t forget about the 3% foreign exchange margin!)
- 2 extra points per $1 spent on selected Qantas products and services
The points give you access to selected Qantas products and services like flights and gift cards.
Other perks include an additional 10% saving on eligible Qantas flights (both international and domestic) for up to two travellers per year for two people on all fare classes, plus 20% bonus Status Credits on Qantas flights. We haven’t even mentioned the complimentary Qantas Wine Premium Membership valued at $99 and 2 complimentary domestic Qantas Club or International Business Lounges each year.
On top of that, you’ll still get the regular perks that come with a rewards card, like a complimentary concierge service and travel insurance that includes travel cancellation and purchase protection cover.
Another cool feature that comes with the Qantas Premier Titanium card is its Qantas wellbeing rewards program, which is a way to increase point earning potential through fitness. You could earn up to 20,000 additional points per year for just everyday activities.
If you’re keen to get spending, the Qantas Premier Titanium card also has a nifty 6 months interest-free on your first Qantas purchase. And if you’re looking to get the family in on the spending action, there’s an option for additional cardholders.
If you’re looking to transfer existing debt onto this account, as there’s a 0% p.a. balance rate for 6 months but just make sure you pay off all outstanding debt as any leftover balance reverts to the 21.99% p.a cash advance rate after.
Finally, remember that there is a whopping $1,200 annual fee to keep this luxe plastic in your wallet, so make sure you’re getting enough value out of the bumper rewards on offer to justify this ongoing cost.
It’s no surprise that big spenders who travel often are going to get the most out of the Qantas Money Qantas Premier Titanium card.
However, there are some conditions to meet in order to apply, you’ll have to be an Australian resident who has a minimum income of $200,000 per year, plus be at least a Bronze Qantas Frequent Flyer member and a new Qantas Premier primary cardholder.
The power of this very high-end credit card comes in its rewards points, but keep in mind that although you'll earn 1.25 points per dollar this is capped at a $12,500 spend per month, after which you'll only earn 0.5 points per dollar. Since this card is aimed at big spenders, this points cap might be something to keep an eye on.

How do we calculate these points?
To work out the "Rewards value minus fees" in our Rewards Revealer we:
calculate how many points you'd get each year,
figure out how many flights or gift cards or cashback credits you could get for those points,
work out what that's actually worth to you,
take off the annual fee you'd pay.
More details:
Our calculations are designed to help you compare the value of different rewards schemes. To do this, we've looked at earning a one-way Sydney-Melbourne flight excluding taxes and charges, a return Sydney-London flight excluding taxes and charges, a $100 shopping Gift Card and $100 cashback. Most cards will also offer other rewards, which may be worth more or less than the ones we've shown.
We have made no allowance for bonus points for using your card at specific merchants, introductory offers or special offers. We have not assigned any value to instant discounts, insurances, ticketing and concierge services or other such benefits.
Rewards value calculations do not take credit card interest into account. If you do not pay off your card each month you may be better off looking for a card based on interest rates than on the value of rewards.
In products that have more than one card, a different mix of spend between American Express / Visa / Mastercard will give different results. Mozo's Rewards Revealer lets you choose the mix based on the way you would use such a product, and gives you tailored results.
We assume flights purchased with airline points are 'classic' or 'reward' economy seats with restricted seat availability. 'Any seat' rewards will probably cost more.
To compare the value of flight rewards, we sample online retail flight prices once a quarter based on the average price on a Wednesday 3 months in advance but outside NSW school holidays. For domestic flights we take the lowest available fare from each flight on that day from Qantas Red e-deal, Virgin Australia Saver including baggage and Jetstar Starter including baggage. We calculate the average price excluding taxes and surcharges for each airline, and also the average across all airlines (which we use when rewards are travel agent vouchers). For international flights, we take the lowest available fares on that same Wednesday from each of Qantas, Emirates, Malaysian, Etihad, Singapore, Cathay Pacific and Thai, assuming a return flight 2 weeks later, calculate the average price before taxes and surcharges and use this as our assumed cost of a flight on any airline.
Shopping rewards are based on $100 gift cards from a major national department store.
We make every effort to ensure our calculations are correct and up to date but make no guarantees.
