Escape the cold with a cosy night in
So, winter’s officially here, but don’t let the cold get you down! We’ve got just the thing for a cosy night in. Upon announcing the winners of our 10th annual Mozo People’s Choice Awards last month, we decided to spice things up with a whole new range of categories, including ‘Movie & TV Streaming’, ‘Food Delivery’ and ‘Online Wine and Alcohol’.

Get yourself RBA rate cut ready
Now, last month’s widely anticipated RBA rate cut was a false alarm in the end, but we might not be as lucky this time around. With the federal election now over and our Mozo data revealing that 53 banks slashed term deposit rates in May 2019, a June rate cut is looking more likely.
So, take it from the Mozo experts and consider chucking your savings into a term deposit account now while you can still get a competitive interest rate.
Embrace the long weekend on a budget
Thanks to the Queen’s birthday on the 10th of June, we can all get ready for another long weekend! So, if you’re planning on braving the cold but don’t want to break the bank, then consider abudget-friendly long weekend road trip down the coast with the fam. If you want to save money on accommodation, you could always make it a quick day-trip.
Or, if you’re a Sydney-sider keeping it local this year, why not head into town and check out the Vivid Light Festival? You’ll get to see some pretty lights and site-see like a tourist in your own city. And the best part? It’s free!
Double the trouble
If you’re shaking in your boots and sleeping with one eye open because it’s Gemini-season (we don’t blame you!), don’t be alarmed. We could all learn a thing or two from these multi-faceted beings.
Gemini’s are highly adaptable and can sniff out two sides to just about any situation! Which will come in handy when faced with exciting new opportunities brought by the Gemini moon of early June, as our Mozo magic 8-ball revealed earlier this year.
