Qudos Bank (previously Qantas Credit Union) is a customer owned mutual bank established in 1959. It offers a full range of banking products including credit cards, home loans, personal loans and saving accounts. In 2023, Qudos was once again named Australia's Best Customer Owned Bank following its impressive display in a number of Mozo Experts Choice Award categories.

Great rates, lots of account flexibility and despite not having many branches, easy to deal with. Still easy to deposit/withdraw money at a Post Office so no need for the branch.

Qudos offer competitive rates however like many banks they won’t reduce interest rates for existing customers until you actually go to switch banks. The offset is great and easy to use as an everyday banking account while also accumulating frequent flyer points and reducing your mortgage interest. Also helpful is that when you ring customer service you’re speaking to staff in Australia. I’ve always found them pleasant and helpful with my queries. Waiting times could be improved to make it a top notch product. Also be mindful of the lack of physical branches, which matters when there’s paperwork to be signed in person. Otherwise, with most banking needs being met online these days, their app and online banking is ok, sometimes not intuitive but ultimately useable. I’ve found Qudos to be one of the more reputable and trustworthy banks I’ve used.
