    Avoid Huddle car insurance

    Signing up for Huddle was relatively easy but when I had to report that my car was stolen, that's when the problems started. Everything is done by e-mail and they take on average 4 to 5 days to answer a simple e-mail. Eventually the police recovered my car and every step to get my car assessed, repaired and released was so painful. It took over 6 weeks from the moment the police released my vehicle until I received it back. No communication, no updates, nothing (unless I requested an update). I would not recommend Huddle.

    Beyond terrible

    Without doubt the worst insurance company you could deal with, because you can't. They don't have a call centre, you have to make a booking for them to call you in 2-3 days. You can't even call them back on the number they called you from if you have a simple follow up question. You have to start the whole ridiculous process again. Four days to answer an email so you just keep going back and forth and taking way longer than you should to resolve anything with them. Cancelled the policy after only 2 months. There is absolutely nothing to recommend this company, they are absolutely terrible.

    Pathetic, please avoid at all costs

    This company would be the worst customer service I have ever had for car insurance in thirty years of having insurance. They will not answer the phone and leave you on hold for ages and still don’t answer. Good luck if you ever needed to make a claim. In my opinion they are pathetic.

    Huddle Insurance is the one for me.

    I changed car insurance policies at the beginning of 2022 to Huddle. The flexibility of policy extras, kms, and driver options is excellent. Customer service is excellent and explain everything in detail making it simple to understand. I haven't needed to make a claim but feel confident in the ability of the company to handle any claim with professionalism and integrity.

    Helpful, courteous and sympathetic assistance

    This company has been extremely helpful with my last incident. My car just stopped 50km from home (rural nsw). I rang the roadside assist number, I was answered straight away, the person was friendly, courteous, helpful and very sympathetic to my situation. She gave me a time frame for the roadside assist person to come.
