Worst bank I’ve dealt with for many reasons App is hopless Short hours on phone for customer service Lack of banking options with payments and account keeping features other banks do have Osko payments always default to standard payments with no option to permanently make osko default Etc etc etc
After 40 years of banking with many Australian banks this one gets the award for being the worst. They blocked my Easy Saver and Healthy banking transaction account and failed to let me know. When I called them to fix it, I thought it would just be a 5 min call to reset my password. Boy!!! was that I wrong!!!! I was bombarded with lots of personal questions. In regards to my employment and who I was talking too at the time of the call as I had my friend with me. I was literally being interrogated on the phone. They refused to unblock my account until I filled out a load of personal Id papers they would send me in the mail. This is going to take a long time. Probably weeks to access my funds. Please do NOT bank with this mob if you value your money as they are worse than scammers as I believe they could legally prevent me from accessing my money for many months via a stalling process so I miss out on high interest as my money was in the healthy saver at the time of the blocking.
They froze my account. It is still frozen. They have this stupid id system that is klunky and half broken. They want my current occupation and employer. I tried to send a selfy of me to them three times. They want certified copies of my driver's licence and passport Tax assessment notice from ato issued in the last 12 months Utilities bill issued in the past 3 months to verify current residential address. I bank with 10 different banks including the Commonwealth. One account that I have has been operating since 1980. In all that time it has never been frozen no matter what my occupation.
NEVER TO RECOMMEND THIS BANK. Unwillingly to negotiate interest rates with Customers. Just interested it taking the hard working Australians with an investment property to the cleaners. Would quite happily recommend any big 4 bank over Australian Unity. Don't do it!
