A rewards-focused option, an annual fee of $139 for the first year ($279 annually thereafter) gives you access to this rewards card. Enjoy the birthday bonus of an additional 10% of the points earned in the prior year (within four weeks of your birthday), alongside 2 Priority Pass lounge visits per year and a concierge service. Opt for the rewards program of your choosing, between Amplify Rewards or Frequent Flyer Rewards. If you choose Amplify Rewards, you can earn 1.5 Amplify Rewards points uncapped per dollar spent on eligible purchases. If you apply and get approved by 31 December 2022 and spend $12,000 on eligible purchases in the first 12 months, you can receive 150,000 bonus Amplify Rewards points. Alternatively you can choose the Frequent Flyer Rewards program and earn 0.75 Frequent Flyer points per dollar spent on eligible purchases up to $250,000 p.a. With this option, if you apply and get approved before 30 June 2022, you can receive 90,000 Frequent Flyer Points when you spend $6,000 on eligible purchases within the first 90 days.
Vertigo - Cashback Offer
- 13.99% p.a purchase rate and no annual fee for first year ($55 annually thereafter)
- Choose between 5% cashback up to $400 total on spend at select major supermarkets until 31 December 2022 or 32 months of 0% balance transfer fee (T&Cs apply)
With a competitive 13.99% p.a purchase rate and a $55 annual fee, waived in the first year, the St. George Vertigo Card is an appealing choice for everyday spending. If you apply and are approved for this card before 30 June 2022, you can choose to have 0% balance transfer fees for 32 months - after which any remaining balance transfer amount will be charged at the 21.49% cash advance rate. Otherwise, opt for the cash back offer with a 5% cash back at select supermarkets up to $400 total until 31 December 2022 (T&Cs apply).
Low Rate - Cashback Offer
- 13.74% p.a purchase rate and $59 annual fee
- Choose between 28 months of 0% balance transfer rate (1% balance transfer fee) or up to $400 cashback offer (T&Cs apply)
It’s easy to be tempted by the competitive $59 annual fee and 13.74% p.a purchase rate of this card. While the cash advance rate is high at 21.49%, there are additional offers available right now. When you apply and are approved before 30 June 2022, you can choose a 0% balance transfer rate for 28 months (1% balance transfer fee applies and after 28 months rate reverts to the cash advance rate). Alternatively, you can choose up to $400 in a cash back ($100 per month for each month that you spend $1,000 or more on eligible purchases in the first 4 months of approval) and a 6.99% balance transfer rate for the first 12 months (T&Cs apply).
