We’re heading into the final months of 2021, and it’s time to start thinking about Christmas shopping. Luckily, this year, you don’t need to spend a fortune on presents. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are around the corner to help save money and get a head start on your Christmas list.

Black Friday on 26 November through Cyber Monday on 29 November is the weekend for scoring incredible deals, but did you know you could save even more by shopping with the right credit card?

As most Aussies will be hitting the Black Friday sales virtually, our editors have picked some of the best credit cards on the Mozo database for saving money, getting cash back or earning points while you shop - as well as those that provide some extra purchase protections.

While credit cards can provide many benefits, make sure any card you select has interest rates and fees that suit your budget long term, beyond Black Friday. It’s also worth noting that while some providers could issue you with a ‘virtual card’ once approved, it could take a number of weeks for a physical card to arrive in the mail.

Top credit cards for online shopping
