An aerial view of a modern housing development in Adelaide, South Australia

If you're a first time home buyer in South Australia, take advantage of the SA government's First Home Owner's Grant (FHOG) to help get you closer to holding the keys of your dream property.

The grant is open for first time buyers looking to buy a newly-constructed home, offering a one-off payment which you can use as part of your deposit.

The grant is not available to investors. Instead, you'll have to call the property home.
