Flexibility - that’s exactly what the Bank Australia Everyday Access account is all about. Whether that’s the freedom to tap and go with a linked Visa Debit Card or via a digital wallet like Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay, the account gives customers all the tools they need to spend and manage their money.
Who likes paying fees? Nobody! Well the Everyday Access account does come with a $5 monthly account fee, but Bank Australia will waive that to anyone who a) deposits at least $2,000 into the account each month, or b) is under the age of 25. Speaking of fees, customers can avoid ATM fees altogether with free withdrawals from Bank Australia ATMs as well as any major bank ATM in Australia.
Being a transaction account, the Everyday Access account doesn't offer any interest gains, so it might be more rewarding to stash the bulk of your savings in an account like Bank Australia’s Bonus Saver account instead. The good news is that the Everyday Access account gives users the option of adding to their savings balance easily via the Round UP feature - all you need to do is switch it on and Bank Australia will round up every purchase you make to the nearest dollar and deposit that amount into your savings account.
Where the Bank Australia Everyday Access account really shines is in its range of payment features. Aside from a regular linked Visa Debit Card, account holders will also be able to make payments using Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay through the award-winning Bank Australia banking app, or make near-instant transfers with PayID.
Jetsetters will even be able to use the Everyday Access account while they’re overseas, though it’s worth noting that they will be hit with a 3.00% foreign exchange commission for purchases and a $3.50 fee for overseas ATM withdrawals.
The Bank Australia Everyday Access bank account might appeal to Aussies who love having a range of cutting-edge payment methods at their disposal, not to mention, an award-winning banking app!
Before you sign up to the Bank Australia Everyday Access account, it may be worth weighing up whether you’ll be able to make a regular $2,000 monthly deposit into your account to avoid the $5 monthly account fee. Unless of course, you’re under the age of 25, in which case the monthly fee will be waived automatically!

I have been banking with Bank Australia for many years and have trust in them and their products. All the staff are professional and friendly. I love their online banking service. The only down side to this bank is they don't have many branches if you prefer going in to do your banking in person.

Great app and online channels. Matches or betters all the products I used to have with a Big 4 bank, from mortgage to credit card to transaction account. Only one branch in Brisbane, but how often do you need one these days? Was easy to get to and very friendly when I did need the branch for some forex transactions. Love the ethics and sustainability strategy of this co-operative bank.
