Westpac's Low Rate credit card is all about value. With a very reasonable annual fee of $59, a low 13.74% ongoing purchase interest rate, and up to 55 interest free days, this piece of plastic is certainly easy on your budget.
Westpac is also offering $200 cash-back when new Low Rate card holders spend at least $1,000 on eligible purchases in the first 90 days of the card being approved - an offer available until 31 March 2021!
And at the moment, new card applicants will be able to blast debt, thanks to the 0% balance transfer offer for the first 24 months (then 21.49%), available until 31 March 2021. Remember, there is a 1.00% set-up fee on the balance transfer.
You can use the card overseas or shopping online wherever Mastercard is accepted and it comes with Mastercard Tap & go functionality so for purchases under $100. All foreign transactions will have a 3% foreign exchange margin added to the Australian dollar amount.
Westpac's Low Rate credit card is perfect for anyone looking for a no-frills card that is still affordable and good value for money.
Remember cash advances won't get the low standard interest rate, but the much higher 21.49%. And don't forget that 1.00% fee on the balance transfer.
