Mebank is always very fast to communicate with me regarding anything to do with my account.Not only that but the option to use a card that will donate money to charity makes it feel good to be spending money on necessities or splurge purchases. It is very easy and smooth to access my money online or withdraw money. Not only that but the no fees is always reassuring so I never have to worry about unexpected fees.

This bank is online only but I am always able to communicate quickly and easily with them. They have recovered money for me. All ATM fees are refunded on the day. Interest rate is good. Very happy with this bank.
I really love the interest rates and no fees with this bank, but the downside is that there are no physical branches for depositing cash.

Joined this for the 5.65% bonus rate. Bad move. So many obscured/hidden conditions to receive the bonus rate and when I thought I’d met them a new one popped up. Too many hoops. I phoned their given 13 number to wait an hour and find this is the number of Bank of Queensland (I know they own ME). I’m asked for my details to be told there is no such account. As an after thought, I’m finally asked if this is an ME account and told I’m being put through to the ME help desk. Wait another hour. I have given my TFN twice but still I get withholding tax taken out at the end of month. In desperation, I tried to remove my funds only to find I can’t transfer from my HomeME account, only from my SpendME account and then only a paltry $5000 daily limit. Then I find it takes three days to appear at another bank’s account. And that ME considers fast because, if I transfer on Thursday or Friday, it takes five days because nothing obviously happens on weekends! When almost all of my funds are eventually transferred, I’ll leave 58 cents there.
We have been with ME bank for over 20 years. They have always provided clear communication and great customer service as well as competitive fees and interest rates.
ME was an account we opened in a hurry to put an inheritance in. It was quick and convenient. However, there are so many flaws it's not worth it. I do like their no fee structure, it's great. I don't like their "pending payments" system and how long they take to credit things into the account.
We have been with ME for a while now. I love the online platform, the ease of setting up joint bank accounts & the fact I can have multiple accounts for splitting up my savings goals. I have dealt with their customer service team a few times and have always had any issues dealt with then & there.
MeBank do not charge fees for using ATMs, the website is clean and easy to use, and their lack of physical branches is made up by refunds for ATM usage. Perfect

Had my account locked from a $5 steam transaction (that was me) and was unable to use the account for at least three weeks despite pleading with them to allow any sort of basic access to my money as I'd moved and my address was different on my license. Zero luck with customer service and couldn't even have an account balance during this time. Out of control! I was honestly floored that they could take it upon themselves to just disable my access despite being aware of the transaction; even more floored that I was unable to regain access for weeks afterwards and how powerless customer service was. You can not directly communicate with the department that disables accounts, so you couldn't actually speak to anyone who was in a position to fix anything either! Seriously do yourself a favour and avoid it at all costs.
I NEEDED TO OBTAIN THE BALANCES OF MY ACCOUNTS WHICH HAD TO BE ON OFFICIAL ME BANK LETTERHEAD. UNFORTUNATELY ME ONLY PROVIDES A TRANSACTION LISTING WHICH DIDN'T FULFIL MY REQUIREMENTS IN THIS INSTANCE. THEY OFFERED TO FURNISH ME WITH A MANUAL BALANCE REQUEST LETTER - WHICH WOULD FULFIL MY REQUIREMENT. AFTER A WEEK I RECEIVED AN EMAIL, BUT WAS INCORRECT. THEY APOLOGISED AND SAID IT WOULD BE RESENT WITH CORRECT DATES AND BALANCES. THEY DID SEND AGAIN, BUT WITHOUT NECESSARY CORRECTIONS. I HAVE NOW RECEIVED 6 EMAILS - STILL NOT CORRECT. I HAVE HAD CONVERSATIONS WITH 7 OF THEIR CONSULTANTS WHO ARE ALWAYS POLITE, APOLOGISING FOR THE ERRORS. SOMEWHERE "UP THE CHAIN" THEY COULDN'T MANAGE TO GIVE ME THE CORRECT INFORMATION. THE LAST CONSULTANT OFFERED TO POST THE LETTER TO ME, GIVEN THAT THE MOST RECENT EMAIL COULD NOT BE OPENED WITH THE PASSWORD I HAD USED FOR ALL THE PREVIOUS EMAILS. SHE IS NOW SENDING THE LETTER VIA AUSTRALIA POST! I HAVE BEEN A LOYAL CUSTOMER FOR AT LEAST 15 YEARS. I AM NOW CANCELLING MY ACCOUNTS AND HEADING TO ANOTHER BANK. VERY DISAPPOINTED AND FRUSTRATED.
