UBank's Save Account offers very competitive interest rates compared to many other savings accounts on the market. There are no ongoing fees which makes it attractive. The rates and fees are clearly explained on their website. The ability to link your Save Account to a Spend Account for ease of transfers is convenient. There aren't any rewards programs or extra perks. UBank’s customer service is generally good though it’s worth noting they don’t have physical branches. If you’re looking for ATMs or branches, UBank might not suit your needs since they operate fully online. UBank is a subsidiary of NAB which adds a layer of trust.

Our son told us about Ubank, he was very happy with the interest rate received, as he knew we were unhappy with our current bank of over 50 years. So I took the plunge and transferred our money into an online savings account earning 5.5% we were more than thrilled after seeing our funds grow after the first month. Essential for us newly retired we wanted our money to work for us. And there were really no hoops to jump through to earn that rate. Deposit $500 a month doesn't matter if you take it out!! I mean how good is that. I did call them up to help me with something within the app and the man on the phone was just lovely and didn't rush this over 60 year old trying to navigate online apps. It's the first time in a very long time I've felt like a valued customer of any banking brand. 10/10 from me. And more than happy to recommend to anyone. They really took the scary world of an online only bank away. My only regret is I didn't do it sooner.
Ubank was very easy to open accounts and has a good app which is reliable and easy to use. Very good interest rates on home saver account. I recommend this bank.
I have been using UBank for my saving account to buy a property. I was so impressed and surprised when they offered such a big increase in interest last year with very easy to follow criteria It has giving me a great boost in savings The app is great and very easy to navigate The only negative I have for UBank is the chat function, definitely needs improvement
Customer service is great, always get a prompt response when calling and I can understand the person speaking to me. Can use my card overseas without charges, and the interest rate for savings is one of the highest. What I don't like is that I cant pay a bill from my savings account and while I get that a savings account is meant to be for saving, the reason I save is often for something. When reach the target I have to transfer the money to my other account to pay for something.
I love Ubank for 10 savings accounts and ease of getting promised interest on the savings. No tricks , plain and simple to use. I feel it is the only Bank that that is taking care of my wealth. I highly recommend it to all, young and old.
Ubank is incredible and I've been with them for several years. Their interest rate is always consistently high if not higher than other banks. I never have to worry that I'm getting a lower interest on my savings account. The interest alone has helped me earn when I haven't worked. The customer service is quick, efficient and friendly. I've never had any issues. It's super easy to withdraw cash at the top 4 banks with the card even though they don't have their own branch. The one con I experienced this year was they changed all the BSB/account numbers for some reason with their upgrade which required a lot of changing accounts with third party companies. They also stopped outgoing payments on one of their accounts which was a nuisance to stop and reroute with third party companies. However this only occured this year so it's ok. I would highly recommend ubank to others and most of my family has an account with them now.
I really like how simple and easy to use the Ubank app is. It is a little bit of a shame that I had forgotton my details/had no access to my old phone number anymore and basically couldnt use my old ubank account anymore, but i really like their ads and ad ons when joining. They have this offer where u refer new members and you get $30 extra in your account after making 3 purchases in the first 30 days of joining. It just makes things fun and the app itself is very pretty and I love the colours. Finally, the physical card is simple and pretty and I love how the card number is printed on the card. It looks simple and its easy to read, and the print does not scratch off or peel away.
