Very good customer service. I had an issue with a recent purchase made on my credit card, and the bank promptly dealt with it. The commonwealth bank also offers a wealth package if you have insurance/ mortgage/ loans/ credit cards etc which saves money and gives added discounts etc.
The product is great. I have security knowing if fraud is done with my card immediate attention is given to have it cancelled, looked into & rectified. I have a great credit rating and was disappointed when I rang once requesting my credit card limit to be increased. Was told to put my own funds onto the card which was defeating the purpose of the request. On another occasion, I then made an application to have it increased and considering they have been my bank for the past 33 years was surprised when they asked me to suit information they already have.
Have been waiting over 2 hours on the phone. If they can't even answer a phone to assist what kind of service will you receive for anything else. And this is for lost/stolen card issue. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED!!
Lack of the ability to change up the borrowing limits on cards, or to change all balances onto one card. Bank statements were difficult to get based on desired date range, less straight forward.
Absolutely hopeless. I called on 24th June 2021 and per the recorded message, it was to be a 30 minute wait. I finally got through after one hour and then the operator just hung up on me., How rude Absolutely disgraceful service. This is it. I am slowly going to switch all my automatic debits to another Credit card and close this card.
Their staff do not know what the correct advice they give you. Branch manager wont see you. Phone banking take to long make contact. They phone you, then cut you off. They would not fix my problem on line, transfer me to awards area but could not fix it and its there area. Took Two months to sort it out, Its all record on my file.
