They will not go out of their way to help their customers If there is a problem or a better method or way of paying that would save you money they never tell you In fact unless you find out yourself they will keep you in ignorance
I love Commonwealth Bank. It’s so easy to use and support team are very kind. Some pros are that the app is really easy to use and the cards came at a very appropriate time. Some cons contactless cash is a little bit hard to use. Overall it’s a really great service.
Online support was very understanding when I was late with my payment. I had always paid the complete balance each month on the due date but missed one time and they didn’t charge me the penalty.
Very hard to get any assistance when needed. Everything is directed to either online banking (Netbank) with generic “bot” type help and support, or a phone line which makes you navigate prompts endlessly before being asked for details and then being put on hold. Something as simple as requesting a replacement card is painful. My replacement card never showed up so now I can’t request a new one online, I have to call them and I simply don’t have the time to stay on hold!
I have been with Coommonwealth Bank since Since I can remember they always call you to make sure everything is okay, also just the other day they sent me a message telling me that someone was trying to get money out of my account and they wouldn't let them. Which I thought was great because it would have kept on happening plus I don't have much money as I am getting DSP Support from government. I do believe overall they are a good choice. They are ok with repayments and stuff you just need to let them know.

Commonwealth bank has been my longstanding bank. Their app is probably one of the easiest to use, which makes checking accounts and moving money easy, safe and convenient.
Easy to use. Able to be directly paid out via direct debit at the end of the month. It would be great however if the customer service were able to contact you should there be a better offer.
I have been with the Commonwealth bank for 50 years and Thay have always looked after me. The bank stopped my mortgage twice so I could get some funds and, on my feet, again. My credit card was hacked into, and the bank refunded my money after just a phone call I have never had a reason to complain, and their service is the best. I highly recommend The Commonwealth bank.

Not the cheapest bank, but reliable and secure. I do like the surepay plan for credit card debt as a way of locking in an interest rate for a period of time.
