BankSA Amplify Rewards is a credit card loyalty program for BankSA cardholders, where they can earn and redeem points earned on their rewards credit card for freebies including free movie tickets, flights, household items, gift cards and even opportunities to donate to a charity. So if you’re someone who loves being rewarded for spending, this could be a program to hop on board with.
Depending on which BankSA Amplify credit card you’re using, you could be earning anywhere from 1 to 1.5 points per dollar spent, without any fear of those points expiring or hitting a cap.
There are three BankSA cards eligible for Amplify Rewards and if you’re a travel lover, there are also cards available that link directly to the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program.

Spend and don’t stop spending! You’ll earn points for eligible spends charged to your BankSA credit card, and the number of points you earn per $1 spent will depend on which card you have:
If you’re especially keen to accrue points, keep an eye out for special promotions that pop up from time to time. With the BankSA Amplify Rewards program, you can often score bonus points when you first sign up for a card, or by meeting a minimum spend criteria in the first couple of years. There’s no limit to how many bonus points you can earn in any statement cycle.
To redeem your points, all you have to do is head online and login to your Amplify Rewards account to shop and redeem online, or pick up the phone between 8am-8pm on Mondays to Fridays (excluding National Public Holidays) and give the Amplify Rewards centre a call on 1300 490 641 for Amplify Classic and Platinum, or 1300 851 342 for Amplify Signature.
BankSA Amplify Rewards also offers Variable Points Plus Pay, which lets you choose how many points you want to use to redeem a reward. This means you can split the cost between your points and payment from your credit card.
Gift cards and vouchers should arrive within 5 business days, and products within 10 business days. If you’re converting your Amplify Rewards points into Airline Miles or Frequent Flyer points, the processing time should take up to 3 business days.
No, points won’t expire as long as you remain an Amplify cardholder. That means you can work on stacking up a big stash and save your points for a reward you really want, instead of feeling like you need to cash them in so you don’t lose them.
Are my Amplify Points capped?
No, points are uncapped - you earn as much as you spend! But while that might sound like a good excuse to whip your plastic out at any opportunity, remember that if you overspend and wind up paying interest or late fees on your credit card balance, it can quickly outweigh the value of your rewards points.
While you can earn points on most everyday purchases, you will not earn any points for spends like BPAY, government charges, cash advances, bank transfers, as well as interest and other bank fees and changes.
No, it won’t cost you anything extra to join the BankSA Amplify Rewards Program. However, keep in mind that the cards themselves come with annual fees, and generally speaking, the more freebies on offer, the bigger the annual fee is.
