First things first, you’ll need an account, so if you haven’t already set one up, you’ll need to register via the website.
To redeem your St.George Amplify Rewards points, log into your account on the Amplify website. You can redeem points for any kind of rewards right there, including booking travel offers. You can even create a Rewards wishlist on your account to keep track of which freebies you’re after.
No, there is no points cap on Amplify Rewards cards. And while that’s great news for your points balance, just keep in mind that it’s not a good idea to start spending more just to chase down rewards points. Think of uncapped rewards points as a bonus on spending you already do, instead of a reason to spend more.
Not only are St.George Amplify Rewards uncapped, but they also have no expiry date, so you can pile them up for as long as your account remains open. That helps you save up enough points to cash in on those big goals - like a free tropical holiday.
While there isn’t a membership fee for the rewards program itself, there are a number of fees that come with St.George credit cards, including annual fees, late payment and transaction verification fees. Keep in mind, fees vary depending on which card you pick, so make sure that the rewards value on offer is worth the price tag that comes with it.
You certainly can, but it will mean opting for the Qantas Frequent Flyer version of the rewards card you’ve picked. That means you’ll earn points directly credited to your Frequent Flyer account, instead of going through the St.George Amplify Rewards Program, which can be really convenient if you’re sure you’re going to use those points on Qantas flights or shopping anyway.
Yep! But there’s a couple more steps to do it. If you’re after Velocity Points, you’ll need to build up Amplify Rewards Points, then convert these into Velocity Points through the Amplify Rewards redemption page.
