My partner and I decided to go with ING for our joint account mainly because of the competitive interest rate and the fact that they don’t charge international transaction fees, a big plus when we travel. The sign-up process was straightforward, and the app interface is clean and easy to use, with handy features like PayID. I also like that you can deposit cheques through Australia Post, super convenient. Pros: + Great interest rate + No international fees + Easy cheque deposits via AusPost + User-friendly app Cons: - The layout can feel a bit basic compared to some other banks’ apps - Would be nice to have more detailed account insights or budgeting tools Overall, ING offers solid value, especially if you’re looking for a simple, high-interest savings account without hidden fees. It was east to obtain, good customer service and fast processing. No issues throughout loan term and can pay down as quick as you like with no hidden fees or charges.
Low and comparable fees. A good daily driver credit card option with a low limit - very useful in pairing with the Savings account to meet the 5 monthly purchases to receive the bonus interest rate. Additionally, upon signing up I received a generous cash bonus.

If I could give a zero I would. Long wait times - never call you back or keep you updated. I made a claim on 24th December - it’s now 21st February and I’m nowhere near getting my car back. Took them 20 days to approve repairs. I chose them because they offered a hire car benefit but there are lengthy delays and “processing times” or “assessment times” which take up most of your hire car benefit.
